Ingrid Bonrud Jakobsen

Research Interests

My research interests are in the molecular evolution of multigene families. Currently I am investigating the evolution of Carotenoid Cleavage Oxygenases.

I have also worked extensively with immune system genes such as HLA and TCR.

Software

My software for the detection of recombination or gene conversion in sequence alignments ("reticulate" and "partimatrix") is currently being upgraded. However, you can get the original versions.

Reticulate and Partimatrix

I have also written short utility programs for sequence analysis.
